Recruiting Session in New Philadelphia on Tuesday - 15-20 Jobs Up for Grabs
A Canton company is intending to hire up to 20 new employees on Tuesday at a recruiting session in New Philadelphia.
Timesreporter.com states that Tank Services is seeking field laborers, painters, and sandblasters. The company is an industrial painting contractor for the oil and gas industry. Positions pay anywhere from $10 to $15 an hour with benefits offered upon completion of a 30-day probationary period. Training and orientation for new employees will begin on March 26. The recruitment session will be held at The Employment Source in Monroe Centre from 9 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday. The address is 1260 Monroe St. NW in New Philadelphia.

"Tank Services has indicated to us that because they are contracting with companies in the oil and gas industry, that these jobs, will be ongoing, and that there will be a growing demand," said Monica Gwin, a public relations specialist with The Employment Source.
The positions will require travel. Generally, Tank Services crews leave on Mondays and return on Friday or Saturday. Tank Services provides travel to and from out-of-town jobs, along with a daily food allowance and hotel accommodations. Applicants also must have a valid driver's license (CDL is a plus), and drug testing is required. If attending the session, be prepared to complete an application and one-on-one interview on Tuesday. Gwin recommends bringing a résumé.
