Are Fracking Fluid Tracers Ready For Primetime?

From the Akron Beacon Journal:
A coalition of West Virginia eco-groups is asking the U.S. Department of Agriculture to adopt a better mthod of detecting fracking fluids used in shale gas drilling.
The groups are involved in the Monongahela National Forest that falls under the agriculture department.
The eco-groups want tracers used. They are substances added to hydraulic fracturing or fracking fluids in tiny amounts that make them easier to track.
