Official Ohio Utica Shale Production Numbers Finally to Be Released Tomorrow

With companies being obligated to report production figures to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources by March 31, the official results were expected to be reported by the ODNR sometime in April.  They never were.  The long wait, though, is soon going to end.

The ODNR has analyzed and verified data for the 87 producing wells in the 2012 report, and the official figures are set to be released at 2:00 PM tomorrow as part of a "State of the Play" event.  As more and more articles over the past month have been published to either pronounce the Utica shale a bust or to defend the play for its natural gas liquids production, the official numbers have been anxiously awaited.

We'll have the information here as soon as we get it tomorrow.  Stay tuned...
