Carroll Concerned Citizens to Learn About Methane in Groundwater on November 14
Carroll Concerned Citizens will learn about methane in ground water near gas wells on Nov. 14.
The speaker will be Amy Townsend-Small, a University of Cincinnati assistant professor of geology.
She is directing a study of methane in water wells in Carroll County, during the drilling onset in the Utica shale.
She and her team have been monitoring about 25 groundwater wells.
The meeting will be at 7 p.m. in the Church of Christ Christian Disciples, 353 Moody Ave., Carrollton.
