Monroe County to See Biggest Part of Rover Pipeline Project

Monroe County will have more miles of pipeline than Belmont, Harrison and Jefferson counties in an upcoming Rover Pipeline project, according to information recently presented to the Monroe County commissioners.
Sharon Carter, permitting agent for the Rover Pipeline, talked to commissioners about the project on which construction is to begin in January 2016.
The upcoming pipeline is to cover 46.31 miles in Monroe County, 34.99 in Belmont County, 20.06 in Jefferson County and 17.7 in Harrison County.
Townships affected in the four counties are:
  • Monroe - Adams, Center, Franklin, Green, Lee, Malaga, Seneca, Summit, Sunsbury and Switzerland. Also listed for Monroe County is Marion, 0.02 miles.
  • Belmont - Mead, Pultney, Richland, Smith, Washington, Wheeling and York. Switzerland also is listed with Belmont County with 0.01 miles.
  • Jefferson - Island Creek, Knox, Salem and Springfield. Loudon with 0.01 miles is included in the Jefferson County total.
  • Harrison - Athens, Cadiz, Stock, North and Monroe.
